World Equestrian Games Day 1
If you head out to the games rule #1, wear comfortable walking shoes or pray for death, parking is a long way from the events and vendors and everything is very spread out. Unless you are an equestrian and have a lot of $ to spend don't plan on doing much shopping. There are a lot of food, beer and bourbon vendors, I didn't eat or drink anything but there seemed to be a lot of variety. From what I could tell parking is $20, I rode my scooter and didn't have to pay to park, I entered at the campground entrance and there was a designated area in the grass for motorcycles and it was free. A grounds pass for the day is $25.00. I wish I had gone out in the early evening and stayed for the rest of the day but didn't have that option due to evening commitments, I arrived about 2:00 and stayed a couple hours until my feet gave out, I didn't obey rule #1. I might go back when I can stay longer, would love to watch some of the events and see some of the horses. The stadium is amazing!!. Here's a few pics, might give you an idea of what to expect
